Please take a look at the stage plot, below (click to enlarge). Eleven Hundred Springs is a 6 piece band, but we only need 5 monitor mixes. 3 of those mixes require monitor wedges. The drummer and bass player use in ear monitors. If you are unsure how to run a line level monitor mix from an aux send on your monitor console to our bass & drum ear rigs, then (1) you probably should not be running sound, and (2) please figure it out, and / or reach out to us before the day of the show.
Here are our instrument inputs, with some basic mic suggestions. Obviously, the available mic selection varies from venue to venue. If you have better mics, great! If you are in the ballpark, and at least have enough functioning gear to make it work, then cool. If you don’t have enough gear, and / or don’t have a sound tech qualified to even come close to making this happen, please let us know!
Please know that we are a country band. Our set list typically includes waltzes, shuffles, and jazzy western swing songs. If you plan on using an Audix D6 on the kick drum, and mic’ing up the toms but not the hi hat, you are already off to a bad start. Please work with us toward the goal of presenting our music in the best way possible.
